NPA was designated by the Cabinet as the coordinator of NEPAD and the APRM in Uganda. Hence, NPA has provided both technical and financial secretariat support to the APRM National Governing Council. The key objective of APRM is to strengthen good governance particularly in the areas of; Democracy & Political Governance, Socio-Economic Development, Corporate Governance and Economic Governance & Management. To date, all the mandatory three Annual Progress Report on the implementation of the Uganda APRM National Programme of Action (PoA) have been produced and approved by Cabinet. The PoA also informed the formulation of the National Development Plan (NDP) 2010/12 – 2014/15.
